Michigan eLab Partner Rick Bolander was honored on the 2013 Venture Capital 100 list. Rick’s notable successes for the year included the IPO of Chegg where he led the Series A financing. The company went on to raise $200 million of venture capital from notable investors such as Foundation Capital, Insight Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins, and Primera Capital, but Rick’s fund was still the second largest shareholder of Chegg stock at the time of the original IPO filing. With Scott Chou making the list in 2012, this marks the second consecutive year in which a Michigan eLab partner was honored.
