Enterprise software provider Blue Medora LLC has partnered with a Japanese I.T. firm in a move that will expand the Grand Rapids-based company’s reach into the Asia-Pacific market.
The agreement involves Tokyo-based Computec Engineering Ltd., a provider of I.T., servers, applications and other services for more than a 1,000 clients.
“(The partnership) gives us access to that market with a known reseller,” said Tom Stryker, the vice president of business development at Blue Medora.
He noted that one of the benefits the company saw with Computec was its status as a bilingual supplier, fluent in both English and Japanese.
“That helps us with our need for support in the region,” Stryker said.
Computec will distribute a number of Blue Medora’s products in the region such as VMware and NetApp Storage.
